BANGOR, MI (WTVB) – Weather permitting, the Quincy Orioles are scheduled to face the Cassopolis Rangers in the MHSAA boys basketball regional semifinals at Bangor Monday night at 5:30 p.m.
The Orioles will bring a 19-4 record into the game after they defeated Union City last Friday night 59-49 to win the Class C District title at Jonesville. The 18-4 Rangers had to go to double overtime for a second straight game as they defeated Bridgman 60-57 last Friday to claim the district title at Bridgman.
The second regional semifinal at Bangor Monday night will have Kalamazoo Christian facing Schoolcraft. K Christian is 16-7 while Schoolcraft is 22-1.
The regional title game is scheduled to take place on Wednesday night.
In a Class B district that wrapped up Saturday because of last Wednesday’s power outages, Three Rivers captured the Vicksburg district title with a 67-63 win over Paw Paw.
