PORTAGE, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Cardinals will be playing for an MHSAA Girls Basketball Regional championship tonight, facing off against DeWitt after beating Stevensville Lakeshore 37-30 in their Division 1 Regional Semifinal Monday.
The Cardinals are 17-8 on the season. DeWitt improved to 24-1 as they defeated Holt 57-38 in the other Regional Semifinal.
Coldwater is the last Branch County girls or boys basketball team still alive in the postseason, after the Bronson girls basketball team lost to undefeated Niles Brandywine Monday night.
Coverage of Wednesday’s Regional Final from Portage Northern High School on WTVB will begin at 6:45 p.m.
