UNDATED (WTVB) – National Weather Service forecasters are still monitoring the potential for severe weather on Friday.
But they say their confidence for severe weather is low because the threat is highly conditional on all of the ingredients coming together at the right time and place.
If severe weather does occur, damaging straight-line winds will be the main threat. However, isolated, weak tornadoes may also be possible.
The best chance for severe weather around Branch County be between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
