MENDON, MI (WTVB) – A Centreville man was badly injured Saturday afternoon in a jeep/motorcycle accident in St. Joseph County’s Mendon Township.
Michigan State Police say 20-year-old Russell McKeehan III was traveling on Nottawa Road near Simpson Road at about 3:25 p.m. when a jeep driven by a 41-year-old woman from Mendon turned in front of him.
Troopers report McKeehan was not wearing a helmet. He was flown to Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo for treatment of life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
