COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) -The case of a man who has been charged after getting into a physical confrontation with Quincy Police Chief Scott Olney January 31, 2017 has been bound over to Branch County Circuit Court.
24-year-old Kevin James Nall is facing charges of Resisting and Obstructing a Police Officer causing injury, Disarming a Police Officer non-firearm and Domestic Violence.
He was scheduled to have a preliminary exam Wednesday in Branch County District Court but a court official says he decided to waive it last week.
Olney suffered facial injuries during the confrontation which took place on West Jefferson Street in Quincy after Olney had responded to a reported domestic complaint.
