HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – An Osseo man escaped injury Wednesday when a tree fell on his vehicle.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says 38-year-old Charles Edward Howe was heading west on West Bear Lake Road near South Hillsdale Road as Fosters Logging Service was cutting down a tree in the road’s right of way.
As Howe was passing through, the tree was cut and fell on his vehicle and damaged it.
The Sheriff’s Department says they cited Fosters for working in roadway/right of way without right of way permit.
No injuries were reported.
