BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater’s bowling teams competed at the Interstate 8 singles championships on Saturday at M-66 Bowl. The Coldwater varsity boys team got their medals and trophy for finishing first in the conference as they went undefeated for a third straight year.
Coldwater’s Alec Keplinger was second on Saturday with a 1,192 series and a six game average of 199. Conner Covert was fourth with an 1,172 series and a 195 average. Jaden Reichhart was eighth with a 1,121 series and a 187 average. Keplinger, Covert and Reichhart made all conference.
Coldwater’s Alysia VanWormer finished first in the varsity girls meet with a 1,048 series and an average of 175. Cassidy Wolfe was fourth with a 988 series and a 165 average. Tiffanie Corwin was fifth with a 978 series and a 163 average while Allison Caswell was ninth with a 936 series and a 156 average. VanWormer, Wolfe, Corwin and Caswell made all conference while Samantha Young earned an honorable mention.
Addison Harvey of Coldwater was first in the JV girls meet while Hannah Furney was fourth and Breanna Hamm was fifth.
Kaleb Champion of Coldwater was second in the JV boys meet while Tristian Furney was fourth and Kaleb Wilber as seventh.
