COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – All four Coldwater bowling teams defeated Jackson Lumen Christi Wednesday night. The varsity boys finished conference play as league champions with a 10-0 record. The two game regular totals were Coldwater 1,868 to Lumen Christi’s 1,257. Coldwater won both bakers 331 to 321. Vinnie Barone led Coldwater with a 222 game and a 422 series. Connor Covert had a 220 game and a 423 series.
Coldwater varsity girl’s ended league play in second place behind Pennfield with a 8-2 record. Coldwater won the two regular games against Lumen Christi with a 861 and a 919 for a 1,780 series to Lumen’s 1,229. Coldwater won the bakers 280- 260. High score for Coldwater was Cassidy Wolff with a 263 game and a 451 series. Tiffanie Corwin had a 202 game and a 360 series.
The j.v boys and girls finished their season undefeated as well. Gavin Duke led the boys with a 179 game and a 333 series. Hannah Furney led the girls with a 147 game and a 260 series.
All four squads will finish conference play Saturday at M-66 Bowl in the I-8 conference singles championships.
