QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school basketball Tuesday, the Quincy Orioles built a 29-14 halftime lead and went on to defeat Reading 56-39 as the Orioles won their fifth straight game.
Katie Rathbun scored a game-high 21 points for the Orioles while Hannah Economou had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Cailyn Cook dished out 10 assists. Baleigh Irelan had 19 points for Reading.
Quincy is now 5-5 in the Big 8 and 7-8 overall.
