MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater, Bronson, Union City, and Pansophia Academy competed Thursday at the Springport Scramble, a two-person scramble event at The Medalist in Marshall.
The Coldwater team of Dracyn Foster and Cooper Otto came in second place, shooting a score of 3-under par score of 69. The teams of Colten Calhoun and Jake Fosdick, and Joe Searls and Braydon Wilkins tied for fourth place by shooting an even par round of 72.
Bronson had three teams in action. The pairing of Andrew McConn and Layne Arver shot an 86, which was good for 15th place. The team of Clayton Shortridge and Naz Salesman had a round of 95, and the pairing of Drew Shoup and Drew Webster shot a 100.
Union City’s team of Blayne Crance and Zane Coppock finished 19th with an 88, and the Pansophia duo of Blake Reed and Draegan Thomas was 24th with a 113.
Coldwater is back in action on Friday at the Marshall Country Club for the Tom Reynolds Memorial Invitational. Bronson and Union City are idle until Monday, when they participate in the fifth Big 8 Jamboree of the season hosted by the Chargers at Turtle Creek Golf Club.
