COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater’s Catholic school got a huge financial boost Saturday night, as the 18th Annual Mardi Gras Auction grossed St Charles Borromeo School at least $91,000.
The event is the largest fundraiser for the school every year. Tuition “angel donations” contributed over $6,000, while the top items at the auction were a pheasant hunt at $1,400, movie and lunch with Principal Brenda Mescher for $1,000, and The Giving Tree for $1,900.
The top individual item as “Father’s Wallet” from Reverend Mark Vyverman, with the high bid of $3,700.
