Rodney Roscoe Persails, 81, of Quincy, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital in Battle Creek. He was born on June 6, 1943 in Coldwater to Arleigh Arthur and Ruth Olive (Rose) Persails. Rodney married Delores (Murdock) on April 4, 1969 and she survives.
Rodney graduated from Coldwater High School. He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States ARMY. Rodney Retired from Western Rubber Company in Fremont. He loved working in his yard, watching old westerns, and sitting on his porch watching nature and drinking his iced tea.
In addition to his wife, Delores, Rodney is survived by two sons, Shannon Persails of Union City, Heath (Michelle) Persails of Portage; three sisters, Arlene Persails of Coldwater, Diana Baker of Quincy, Lorraine (Jim) Gaglio of Coldwater; five brothers, Jim (Judy) MacCrae of Toledo, Arthur Persails of Coldwater, Carl Persails of Coldwater, Larry Persails of Coldwater and Michael Persails; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Geri Stephens.
A graveside service with Military Honors for Rodney Roscoe Persails will take place on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 1 PM at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy with Pastor Issac Tyson officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church or the Humane Society of Branch County.
