COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – If you are interested in volunteering your time to be a weather spotter, the National Weather Service will be hosting a Skyward Spotter Training session in Coldwater on February 14th.
It will be held at Community Health Center of Branch County Conference Center at 274 E. Chicago Rd. starting at 6pm.
There is no cost whatsoever.
Skywarn is a group of trained weather spotters that report directly to the National Weather Service.Their reports help forecasters in issuing more timely and accurate warnings throughout 37 counties in southern Michigan, northern Indiana and northwest Ohio.
