COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – If you are interested in volunteering your time to be a weather spotter, the National Weather Service will be hosting a Skyward Spotter Training session in Coldwater Tuesday, February 14.
It will be held at Community Health Center of Branch County Community Care and Conference Center starting at 6:00 p.m. There is no charge for the training.
Skywarn is a group of trained weather spotters that report directly to the National Weather Service. Their reports help forecasters in issuing more timely and accurate warnings throughout 37 counties in southern Michigan, northern Indiana and northwest Ohio.
