MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – A suspect is in custody following a threat phoned into Marshall’s Oaklawn Hospital late Tuesday morning.
Marshall Police say the caller was threatening to shoot someone at the medical facility. At 11:00 a.m. a lockdown was instituted and security beefed up. It was lifted two hours later, and normal operations resumed.
The search immediately began to track down the person who made the call and an arrest was made in Cass County. The man is being held on unrelated charges while further investigation is conducted.
