KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI (WTVB)- Michigan State Police (MSP) troopers are investigating the death of an infant they believe may have occurred under suspicious circumstances.
Troopers from the Paw Paw Post responded to a residence on Henning Street near East Michigan Avenue in Comstock Township around 6:45 a.m. Wednesday morning after it was reported that a two-week-old infant was not breathing and did not have a pulse, authorities said.
MSP says they have interviewed several witnesses, but no arrests have been made at this time.
After an autopsy and lab results are completed, a report will be sent to the Kalamazoo County Prosecutor’s Office for review because of the suspicious nature of the child’s death.
