Roberta “Bobbie” L. West, 74, of Coldwater passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025 at her home.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Hope Church in Coldwater. Interment will take place at Schoolcraft Township Cemetery in Schoolcraft, MI at 1:30 p.m.
A gathering of family and friends will be held May 17, 2025 at Hope Church from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Bobbie was born September 26, 1950, to Robert and Francis (Johndrow) Park in Dayton, OH. She later met and married William E. West Sr. in Schoolcraft May 19, 1973.
Bobbie worked for Consumers Energy for 28 years before retiring.
Bobbie was a member of the Hope Church. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, playing cards, camping and spending time with her cats. She was very energetic, fun loving, and caring. Bobbie loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren any chance she could.
Bobbie is survived by her husband Bill West; her children William “BJ” (Darlene) West Jr.; Heather (Keith) Carey; her brother Lawrence (Jane) Park; her stepsiblings Richard (Karen) Lovely; Thomas (Jamie) Lovely; her grandchildren Camden Carey; Taylor West; Taryn Carey; Logan West; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Bobbie was preceded by her parents; her sister Sherrill Susemihl; and her stepdad Leroy Lovely.
Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
