COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Food pantries around the nation, including the Branch Area Food Pantry in Coldwater, will benefit from the efforts of the National Association of Letter Carriers, who will conduct their annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive this weekend.
About 10,000 cities across the U.S. will participate. To donate, leave non-perishable food items in a bag near your mailbox this Saturday, May 10.
Mail carriers locally will bring the food they collect to the Branch Area Food Pantry on Pierson Street, where it will be weighed, sorted, and put on the shelves. The food pantry will be providing sandwiches for the mail carriers.
