Floyd Wayne Randall, 90, of Reading passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family Friday, May 9, 2025.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home George White Chapel in Reading. Burial will follow at Cambria #2 Cemetery.
Family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, May 15 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born February 7, 1935 in Jonesville to Ray and Frances (Pettit) Randall. Floyd married Nancy Ann Champion March 5, 1955 and she preceded him in death March 30, 2016.
Floyd graduated from Jonesville High School class of 1953, he then went on to marry Nancy, and work for Jonesville Products for more than 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, and thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and going to the rodeo.
He was a true family man and enjoyed every second spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. As a talented winemaker, he spent days perfecting his tomato wine and has won many awards and ribbons at the Hillsdale County Fair for his work. He dedicated his life to the county fair serving as night security for the grounds for more than 50 years.
He was a 4-H leader, a charter member of the Reading Lions Club, and enjoyed stock car racing with his brother-in-law, Stan Champion.
Surviving family includes his children, Marcia (Ben) Bowers, Marikay Swick, Dennis (Chris) Randall, and Jack (Jennifer) Randall; eleven grandchildren, Jessica, Jason, Justin, and Blaine Randall, Michael and Jeremiah Hull, Erica May, Doug Nelson, Linda Hurley, Kayla and Jon Randall; many great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Neva Dickman; and his special dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy Randall; daughter, Linda Randall; five brothers; grandson, Josh Daglow; and great-grandchild, Emerson Randall.
