President Trump is expected to announce his nominee to fill a vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court in a few days, but Branch County’s representative in Congress says don’t expect a justice from Michigan to be chosen
Michigan 7th District Republican Congressman Tim Walberg does not think Michigan Supreme Court Justice Joan Larsen will be selected.
Despite Walberg’s disappointment that Larsen will likely not get chosen, he feels whoever is nominated by Trump will do a good job.
Larsen was named by Governor Snyder to the Michigan Supreme Court in September 2015.
