COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Internet service remains out for customers of the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities, as the utility waits for its supplier to get back online.
At 7:15 p.m. Saturday CBPU issued a statement saying, “We understand your frustration with the current internet outage and we apologize for the inconvenience. Our supplier Metronet’s primary line was affected by the tornado in Battle Creek on Thursday, and their secondary line was affected by the storms that hit Friday night.”
“Their crews are still working on restoration. There may be intermittent internet as they continue their repairs.”
The back-up internet feed from Metronet went down just before 11:00 p.m. Friday.

I think you should do an article on how irresponsible they are and how they have their primary and backup with the same provider which any IT person knows is wrong and poor business and so bad that the website and phones are down and they can’t get information out except for social media. Not even a tiny back
Backup site for free from godaddy or phone line with information. Sounds like incompetence to me
