Deanna R. Shortridge, 60, of Coldwater passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 23, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home.
A memorial gathering will take place prior to the service from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home.
Deanna was born July 14, 1964 to Albert Miller and Rosalee (Peterson) Nivison in Coldwater, MI. She married Brian Shortridge August 8, 2008 in Auburn, IN.
For over 18 years, she has been the owner and operator of Spirit Services in Coldwater.
Her true passion was caring for her family. Deanna’s grandchildren were her pride and joy, always catering to their needs.
Deanna is survived by her husband Brian Shortridge of Coldwater; her mother Rosalee Nivison of Coldwater; her children Sara (Daniel) Sattler of Coldwater, Kyle (Michelle) Sattler of Coldwater; her sisters Trina (Ron) Matchette, Christina (Craig) Lauzon; her grandchildren Kylie, Lyllie, Kolton, Wyatt, Presley; her nieces and nephews Justin, Shane, Hailey, Morgan; her dog Annabelle; and her bonus son “Other Kyle.”
Deanna was preceded in death by her father Albert Miller and her stepfather Ron Nivison.
Memorials may be directed to her grandchildren’s college fund.
