COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater School Superintendent Paul Flynn presented a timeline to the district’s Board of Education on Monday night for a possible bond proposal that would be used to fund high school building renovations.
The district hopes to put a bond question on the ballot in May of 2026.
TMP Architecture has been working with the district on plans to upgrade Coldwater High School which was constructed in the mid 50’s and expanded in the early 90’s.
Flynn discussed what he called a bond formation plan after he met with TMP representatives on Monday.
Assessments on the facility and programs have already been conducted. Flynn said architects have conducted two walk throughs of the building with the second taking place last Friday.
A meeting with the high school staff to get their feedback is scheduled to take place next Tuesday.
