Kenneth Junior “Ken” Johnson, 82, of Quincy passed away at Insight Hospital and Medical Center Coldwater Monday, January 6, 2025.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Country Wedding Chapel in Quincy. Interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home- George White Chapel in Quincy.
He was born November 6, 1942 to Kenneth Arthur and Mary Rose (Crowl) Johnson in Hillsdale. Ken married Janice Kochendorfer on April 30, 1967, and she survives.
Ken graduated from Quincy High School class of 1961, then went on to be an avid farmer for most of his life. When Ken wasn’t farming, you could find him going to cattle shows, bowling, or supporting his favorite sports teams. He loved to support the Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Pistons, also the Michigan State Spartans.
Above all, Ken cherished spending time with his family, and going for walks with his dogs “Levi” and “Queenie”.
Survivors include Kens wife of 57 years, Janice Johnson; three children, Kendra (Chris Hatch) Johnson, Kevin (Heidi) Johnson, and Kenneth Alan Johnson; and 6 grandchildren.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
