COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Dairy Queen store at 559 East Chicago celebrated its first anniversary on Wednesday by offering everything on the menu 50 percent off.
Indoor dining was not available due to the state’s COVID-19 restrictions so items off the menu had to be picked up at the drive through window.
That led to a long line of vehicles along East Chicago that stretched almost to I-69.
A video of the long line was posted at the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page.
At one point, Coldwater Police had to be called in to handle traffic control.
