COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A fourth community meeting to discuss infrastructure issues and needs in the Coldwater Community School district will be held this evening. The two hour meeting will start at 6:00 p.m. in the Media Center at Legg Middle School.
Superintendent Terry Boguth says the discussions will continue the process towards a bond proposal. There will be discussion Thursday night about a series bond and to see if there is support for that idea. Boguth says a district does not have to increase millage if a series bond is pursued.
She says the top priority from citizens is the need for a new elementary building.
Boguth says there are “behind the walls” mechanical needs in both the middle school and the high school.
She is hoping to have a bond issue on the ballot this November.
