COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – HaasCaywood PC, which has offices in both Coldwater and Sturgis, says Olivia A. Kurajian has joined the firm as an associate attorney.
Her practice will initially focus in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, guardianships and conservatorships, and family law. She will be working primarily out of HaasCaywood’s offices in Sturgis.
Kurajian earned her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law. She also holds a Master of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Canadian Studies from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.
Olivia has presented her original research in conferences around the world and is a published scholarly author in several academic journals. Before practicing law, she was a substitute teacher, project manager for a nonprofit organization focused on improving literacy and regularly volunteered in numerous museums.
Prior to joining HaasCaywood PC, Olivia practiced with a regional firm where she developed extensive experience in estate planning and probate matters.
Beyond her legal practice, Kurajian is actively involved in community service, including serving on the board of a local nonprofit organization aimed at eliminating food insecurity. She also values supporting her daughter’s swim team and spending time with her family. In her personal time, she enjoys reading historical fiction novels, frequenting farmer’s markets, and learning to kayak.
She and her husband Dr. Nathan Frantz, a professor of chemistry at Glen Oaks Community College, say they are excited to be moving their family to St. Joseph County and becoming active members in the Sturgis community.
