DEKALB COUNTY, IN (WTVB) – An Angola woman was injured Monday after crashing her car and hitting two trees, according to a press release from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
The initial investigation revealed the driver was in the 3900 block of County Road 35 when the Chevy Impala veered off the road and crashed into two large trees, hitting one head-on, according to the release. It’s unclear why the car went off the road.
While the injuries were not described by authorities as life-threatening, the 68-year-old woman did have internal injuries and broke her arm and ankle. The car was totaled.
No one else was involved in the crash.
