David G. Bercaw, 63, of Union City passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025 at his home.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson. Interment will follow at Snow Prairie Cemetery.
A visitation will take place Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. prior to the service.
All arrangements are being made by Dutcher Funeral Home.
David was born September 8, 1961 to George and Karen (Evans) Bercaw in Coldwater, MI. He later met and married Christie (Bradley) March 21, 2010.
David spent many years working in several factories and hobby farming.
David enjoyed many things including hunting, fishing and being outdoors. In his free time, he watched the Detroit Tigers and Lions and U of M football. David loved to garden any chance that he was able to.
Nothing meant more to him than his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
David is survived by his father George Bercaw; his wife Christie Bercaw; his children Ryan (Anna) Bercaw; Aaron (Cassie) Bercaw; Nicole Montgomery; Meagan Bercaw; his siblings Dan (Cheryl) Bercaw; Karleen (Rudy) Valentine; his grandchildren Audrey; Nate; Claire; Freya; and many other loving family members.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother Karen Bercaw; his daughter Shane Mcauley; his brother Michael Bercaw; and his favorite great uncle Emerson.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family for funeral expenses, with checks made payable to Ryan Bercaw.
