COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Angola man who led Branch County Sheriff Deputies on a high speed motorcycle chase across the state line into Indiana earlier this month is now in the Branch County Jail.
Logan Thomas Baxla was extradited from Steuben County on Tuesday where he is also facing charges.
Branch County deputies attempted to stop a motorcycle operated by Baxla for traveling at 113 mph on I-69, just after one O’clock in the morning on June 7th.
He eventually failed to negotiate a curve on an exit ramp in Steuben County and was taken into custody. He is preliminarily charged with fleeing and eluding in Branch County as well as multiple charges in Indiana.
