COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – There is an opening on the Coldwater School Board following the recent and immediate resignation of James Hiscock.
Coldwater school officials are looking for an eligible candidate to fill the vacant position. The term expires in December 2018.
The seat will be up for election to a six year team in November of that year.
To be eligible for the seat, the applicant must be a registered voter in the school district. They must also be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen and a resident of Michigan for at least 30 days.

The deadline for applying is next Monday, January 16, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.
The board hopes to appoint a new member during their next meeting on January 23.
