QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The search for a new superintendent for Quincy Community Schools has been reduced down to two following a first round of interviews this week.
Both John Denny, retired superintendent of Hanover-Horton Schools and Mike Ehinger, current superintendent of Whittemore-Prescott Area Schools have been invited back for a second round of interviews next week. Both hold masters degrees in educational leadership and administration.
The school has scheduled an open house for the public prior to the interviews next Wednesday from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. in the high school library. Interviews are scheduled for 6:00 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
The board is hoping to have a new superintendent in place by July 1 to replace the retiring Marc Kramer.
