KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, IN (WTVB) – Two men are in custody in Kosciusko County, Indiana for their alleged involvement in a crime spree that authorities stretched into Branch County as well as six other Indiana and Michigan counties.
41-year-old Frank Bailey III of North Webster, Indiana and 27-year-old Michael Nicholas Watson of Leesburg, Indiana were arrested late last week on numerous charges including theft, burglary and auto theft.
The Sheriff’s Department in Kosciusko County say the two men were part of a large scale theft ring and that there may have been four other persons involved.
WANE-TV in Fort Wayne says officers found two side-by-side UTV’s, eight ATV’s, six trailers, snowmobiles, go-carts, golf carts, motor-cross motorcycles, and mini-bikes that were likely stolen.
