COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Irma Louise English Music Scholarship Fund is accepting scholarship applications through January 3, 2017t. The fund was created by her children in 2008 to honor the lifelong Branch County resident who had a zest for life and a passion for music.
The fund has issued 32 scholarships to Branch County area music students totaling over $15,000.
Students of music in Branch County will find applications for the scholarship on the Branch County Foundation’s website which is www.BrCoFoundation.org. They can also call (517) 278-4517.
Music professionals from throughout the county will serve on the selection committee along with the band, choir, and/or musical directors from each school.
