WASHINGTON DC, (WTVB) – House Republicans have been working through the night to get members of their own party to vote for President Trump’s massive spending bill. A key procedural vote to move the bill forward came after hours of uncertainty that saw a handful of GOP lawmakers withhold their votes.
Debate on the bill began overnight and Michigan 5th district Congressman Tim Walberg spoke in support of the Senate-passed One Big Beautiful Bill Act on the house floor early this morning.
The bill is expected to come to a vote sometime this morning.
