COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Administrator Frank Walsh has announced that courtroom renovations at the Branch County Courthouse will begin next week.
Beginning Monday, July 7, the Branch County Probate Courtroom will be shut down for a major renovation until September 8. Walsh says the Circuit and District courtrooms will be available and will take on the capacity of the Probate Court.
Visitors to the courthouse are advised to check with security for daily schedules.
It is expected that renovations in all three courtrooms will be completely renovated by December 31st.
Walsh said in April the overall courthouse cost estimate is between $3,700,000 and $3,800,000.
