COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater city officials are looking for information on who was responsible for shooting off fireworks and damaging the Heritage Park tennis courts on Friday night.

The city spent nearly $75,000 to have the courts resurfaced in 2024. In the state of Michigan, it is illegal to shoot off fireworks on public property.
It’s unknown at this time what the cost to repair the courts will be, they are used by the high school and middle school tennis teams who will begin practice for the upcoming season next month.
