HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — U.S. Rep. Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, emailed a statement to media, in light of questions as to how members of Congress will vote on the question of certifying the election of President-elect Joe Biden, and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.
Upton indicated he will support certification of the Electoral College vote, wrote:
“Voters – not judges or politicians – must decide elections. These objections would establish a new precedent allowing the Congress to supersede the will of the people. There have been no cases of fraud discovered that would overturn President-elect Biden’s 154,000 vote victory in Michigan.”
