CALHOUN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Two Battle Creek men who police say were dealing drugs in Branch, Calhoun, and St. Joseph counties have been arrested by the Southwest Enforcement Team after officers seized about a pound of methamphetamine during a traffic stop Tuesday.
Both men had been under investigation for several months and detectives conducted several undercover purchases of heroin, fentanyl, and meth.
The suspects reportedly had ripped open a bag of meth and it completely covered the front seat of the vehicle when they were stopped.
Detectives also executed a search warrant at a home on Avenue A in Calhoun County’s Springfield Township Wednesday.
The suspects are 37 and 42-years-old. They are being held in the Calhoun County Jail on charges of possession with intent to deliver meth, and resisting and obstructing police – tampering with evidence and evidence destruction.
Detectives will also be requesting additional charges based on the numerous undercover buys.

DON’T BRING THEM TO BRANCH COUNTY! They will just let them go!
