COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Gas prices in Branch County rose at a higher then those across the state from last week.
As we kicked off the new work week pump prices around the county are at $3.32 per gallon that’s five cents higher then the state average of $3.27 per gallon. Prices have risen nearly twenty cents from a month ago but are still considerably less then this time last year when we were paying $3.59 per gallon.
Around the area Calhoun County is at $3.26, St. Joseph County has an average of $3.28 per gallon, and Kalamazoo County at $3.29 per gallon.
If you have plans to venture across the state line into Indiana, a number of stations there are selling regular unleaded for as low as $2.89 per gallon in the Angola area.

Maybe, we all need to travel across the State Line to buy GAS!!! I know I will! We are always higher than those around us and I just got back from Dayton and I got gas for $2.49!!! Time for them to drop our prices if they want our business!!! Vi Garman
