BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – It’s always one of the biggest summer time events in Branch County. Final preparations are ongoing for the 55th Bronson Polish Festival that begins Thursday and runs through Saturday.

While Polish food will be available at various Bronson locations starting as early as 7:00 a.m. Thursday in some locations, the Opening Ceremonies and Kick-off will officially take place that evening in the St. Mary’s Church Gym starting at 6:30 p.m., when the festival’s annual king, queen, prince, and princess will be crowned.
That will be followed by a Parking Lot Party with The Lovey Howel Band, behind Smitty’s Pizza from 7:00-10:00 p.m. Bingo is also scheduled from 7:00-10:00 p.m. under the pavilion downtown.
Both Friday and Saturday will have a full schedule of events.
Friday is Kids Day at Douglas Park with a Bike Raffle at 12:00 p.m. The annual fireworks show will take place Friday night at dusk at Bronson Jr/Sr High School.
Saturday’s events will be highlighted by the Polish Festival parade starting at 1:00 p.m.. The parade will travel along U.S. 12 from Division to Lincoln Streets.
