QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Community Schools Board of Education selected Erin Veysey to fill a vacancy on the board during their regular monthly meeting on Monday night.
The vacancy was created by the recent resignation of Jennifer Wortz.
James Paxton and Kevin Woodward were the other candidates vying for the position.
Veysey was selected after the three candidates were interviewed by the board and will fill out Wortz’s term which expires in November 2020.
Veysey is currently serving as the Special Event and Project Manager for the Village of Quincy.
