TOLEDO, OH (WKZO AM/FM) – The Toledo Walleye will not play this year. They are the ECHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings. Officials chose to opt out of the season under the league’s COVID-19 voluntary suspension.
According to a statement, the team depends on ticket sales and sponsors.
