COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School eighth grade boys basketball team lost to Jackson Lumen Christi 50-47 in their season finale Monday. Garrett Johns led Legg with 16 points while Hunter Munson had 13 points and Chase Sunderland finished with 12 points.
The Legg seventh graders also closed out their season by splitting with Lumen Christi. The A team finished 6-6 after they lost to Lumen 38-37. Zach Coffing, Sal Barone and Eddie Pool all had eight points. Pool had 13 rebounds while Coffing had 12 boards.
The B team won in overtime over Lumen Christi 29-24 as they finished 3-9. Hugo Mojica had 13 points, nine rebounds and seven steals while Kaden Voyce had 12 points with six rebounds and five steals.
