COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Friday begins another round of the annual Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign targeting intoxicated motorists across Michigan.
From Friday through Labor Day on Sept. 1, law enforcement agencies across the state will schedule extra patrols to look for intoxicated drivers. That work is in addition to regular daily police patrols and work.
The legal blood-alcohol limit in Michigan is 0.08%.
Michigan State Police say the late summer period and Labor Day holiday weekend are among the deadliest times of the year for crashes involving impaired drivers.
