BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – In high school wrestling, Bronson opened their season Wednesday by defeating Niles Brandywine 57-24 and Constantine 63-14. Nine Vikings won two matches. They were Preston Wronikoski (112), Ben Modert (119), Brenyn Fee (125), Brendan Withington (130), Isaac Tappenden (160), Ruger Ranney (171), J.C. Depaz (189), Carson Rose (215) and Alex Tyer (285).
Union City split their matches at the Jonesville Quad meet. The Chargers defeated Grass Lake 36-35 but lost to Jonesville 46-36.
