COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Each year the ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital Volunteers donate thousands of hours and money for the hospital, with one of their main fundraising projects being their annual Celebration of Lights.
The 2018 edition was held at the ProMedica Community Care and Conference Center Tuesday evening. Individual donations in honor or memory of loved ones, coupled with a $500 donation from The Laurels of Coldwater, put this year’s project total at over $3,500.
The money will be used to maintain the Garden of Hope, located next to the Percy and Helen Taylor Community Cancer Center, and the Memorial Garden, located just south of the hospital building.
In addition to the reading of almost 140 names being honored or remembered, the Coldwater High School Balladiers provided music for the ceremony.
