COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater ProMedica Regional Hospital Foundation has announced grants amounting to $81,496 to help fund medical equipment and purchases to improve patient care.
The grants given allowed ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital to support a variety of projects. Those included: Pediatric Clinic aquarium, vital signs machine, Cancer Center computer workstations, prescription drugs for patients in need, supplies, drugs, and medical equipment for hospice patients, and support for ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital employees in catastrophic times.
Grants from the foundation funded exam tables for both the Quincy Clinic and ProMedica Obstetrics Clinic, Cancer Center improvements and support groups, flags and cases for veterans in hospice, transportation for patients in need, yoga in schools program, Infection Control Week scholarship, new mom gift bags, MRI support, nursing scholarships, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner program equipment, emergency room entrance wheel chair, respiratory supplies and equipment, and memorial garden and Garden of Hope.
The funds were provided by grants from the ProMedica Circle of Friends, Employee Benevolent Fund, Patient Assistant Fund, and Obstetrics Department.
