HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – A two vehicle traffic accident in the City of Hillsdale on Thursday morning took the life of one driver and sent the other to the hospital.
Hillsdale Police say 31-year-old Brandon Phillip Stuchell died as the result of injuries he suffered in the crash which took place on Carleton Road near Beck Road at about 9:45 a.m..
Julie Gordon of Jonesville was taken to Hillsdale Community Health Center where she was treated and released.
A portion of Carleton Road had to be shut down during the investigation into the accident.
The icy road conditions may have been a factor but the accident is still under investigation by Hillsdale Police and the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department.
