We’re proud to share this news release from the Children’s Museum of Branch County
Saturday, September 27 the Children’s Museum of Branch County transformed into a playground for grown-ups during its highly anticipated Imagination After Dark: Sip, Savor, and Play event—an adults-only evening dedicated to fun, fundraising, and celebrating the power of imagination.
With over $20,000 raised, the event was a resounding success, and none of it would have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors, volunteers, and community.
This unforgettable night featured live music from local artists Logan Winright and Ashlyn Abrey, interactive exhibits, and playful experiences that invited guests to reconnect with their inner child. Attendees enjoyed delicious food and drinks, a lively silent auction, and hands-on
activities like the ever-popular slime station and the explosive Whoosh bottle demonstration.
Guests were also wowed by a slight-of-hand magician and even became part of the show with our one-of-a-kind human slot machine!
The museum would like to extend a special thank you to the Coldwater High School National Art Honor Society for delighting guests with custom caricatures, and to the brothers of Tau Kappa Epsilon Chapter from Trine University for their outstanding service throughout the night.
A heartfelt thank you to presenting sponsors—Southern Michigan Bank & Trust, Honor Credit Union, Kiwanis, and Coldwater Township Sunrise Rotary—for making this event possible.
The $5,000 matching grant from Modern Woodmen of America allowed the Museum to meet the fundraising goal.
Special thanks to additional sponsors Joyce Hubbs, Dr. David & Shana Grife, Coldwater Noon Club, Sekisui Voltek, Mark & Janet Ott, Rick & Kathy Merrill, Marshall Community Credit Union, Coldwater Lake Marina, Walmart Distribution Center #6043, Keiss Jewelry, Shemel’s Carpet & Interiors, Dr. Bruce & Ruth Young, Dr. Joe & Heidi Holicki, aand Meijer.
Save the date for next year’s Imagination After Dark: Sip, Savor, and Play on September 19, 2026.
